Yes, I'd like to thank you Auzentech for making such fine products. You have yet to let me down! This will make my 4th Auzentech purchase and still very content with you products.

I had almost forgotten how god awful onboard sound was... I didn't really think it was all that bad of quality besides the stuttering issue I was having. That was until I got back around to installing a true audiophile sound card, muahaha. I probably listened to music for 6 hours straight on my computer last night, just cranked to the max. :rocker: So crisp, so clean, so lush :)

For a $60 sound card, the X-Mystique just can't be beat. I don't notice a bit of sound quality difference between it and the X-Plosion I had last. Granted the extra digital output capabilities of the X-Plosion were nice, but I don't think they justified the cost increase. I was half-tempted to go all out and pick up the new X-Meridian but ultimately decided against it since I don't have a true set of speakers that would unleash the full wraith of a near $200 sound card.

Again, I highly recommend the Auzen cards to anyone looking for the absolute best music/movie sound possible. No one makes a better card.

When i was in the market for a soundcard i had a good look for some AT cards in the UK. Could only find one and that cost £100 at the time :(

How do they rate against the X-FI in support in games? Do they have EAX5 capabilities?

This is where they fall down a bit, they aren't as good as the X-Fi's in games

Having said that the drivers actually work in Vista so....

Oh and btw Frag, I'm using onboard audio atm and it's got a lot better since the bad old days ;)

It's definitely not that bad if you get a board that has an audio riser, or one of the new boards with onboard X-Fi. Nothing beats the sound of a good old fashioned sound card though :D

My Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 PE < Karajen Audio module on my DFI. Not only does my onboard support EAX2 but it also sounds alot better without the glitchies from stupid Creative drivers.

Ive read a lot about the X-Fis taking so much load off the cpu that they get a small FPS boost. Is it the same with these cards?

Popo, that sound card is the biggest waste of sperm. Did someone say overpriced?!?!?!

Small indeed, 1-2fps. Worth $300 for the card investment? HELLLL NO.

Dude, a friend of mine tested X-Fi Fatal1ty Champion and it was like extra 15FPS ~. :o

Nice purchase Frag.

@ the Creative bashing. I think people just diss them because everyone else does. In all reality, their drivers are fine and I can honestly say I've never had any driver issues with my three SB Live 5.1's, my SB Live 24-Bit OR My X-Fi XtremeMusic on XP Home or Vista Ultimate. Some may say its luck, I say its not being retarded :p *cough*

Both of those Lives suck honestly. Im not a basher of sorts like your talking about, and deffinately not retarded where computers are concernd. When playing BFME I and i enabled EAX3 with the 24-bit i dropped about 5fps. And that game is like OLD.

I know lives suck, that was back when I wasn't really into gaming. Also, do you really notice a difference when you enable EAX? I honestly never did. You seem to think it's god's blessing to PC gamers. The only difference I ever noticed with any enhancements was enabling Creative X-Fi with Ultra High sound quality in BF2, which has EAX but I doubt that was it.
