I think ATI is pulling out the big gun pointing at Nvidia saying "what are you going to do now?" Yes the good thing is that people will buy ATI card but it give Nvidia chance for a come back with a better card. So this move that ATI made is strong but at same time risky

To be honest, ATI's releases will have come out too close to Nvidia's launch for them to be able to change anything substantial on the cards. They could probably tweak the clocks to get more out of it but then have to deal with the heat that produces if the new chips weren't designed for clocks that high.

Ya, but they can release two card but not like 5770 and 5870x2 and 5890 at the same time it basically throw away all the backup plan to fight Nvidia if they do this

I cant even get hold of a 5870. I wonder how easy it will be to get hold of these GPU's. Im still waiting to see what NVidia will do before I do anything though.

Because they make really good gpus for good price. and Pretty much every new card comes out there is going trouble with the driver
