When is this card being released in the U.K??

OcUK are getting alot in on the 11th of September (1 date I will never forget)

Cool! I was going mad searching for this card on google... Realised websites such as Overclockers, dabs, scan etc have it for preorder.

I'm still a little confused... has this card got two gpus on-board or is it just the one?

I saw a 'few' benchmarks and the performance increase seems very small in comparison to the x1900xt/x

I'm still waiting for the OC3D review to shed some light and if they confirm the findings of other reviews, i may as well get the x1900xt instead, right?

The Sapphire X1950 has been given an OFFICAL release date of October. Was supposed to be the 24th of this month but its been put bcak a little for some reason.

TBH im wary of this card IMO as its close to the vista date and yet it only supports DX9. Thats just me tho and as vista is a resource hog to say the least its going to be at least a year before we see anything used of it.

Quick pop quiz... was there many games that were released that took full advantage of the intel SSE instructions. I remember one car racing game but thats about it

Yeh i was thinking the exact same, The R600 is right round the corner...obviously it supports DX10 so it'd be a waste to buy a 1950 and then have to buy yet another card when the DX10 games (crysis for example) are released.
