iam very happy that i came so far with this an old CPU very statisfied with the results :D

EDIT:Pls move it to the overclocking section above xD i didnt looked where i putted it sorry xD

decent overclock, i know from experience the 3xxx series of athlon 64's wernt the most overclockable processors ever, most people struggled to get more than an extra 2-300 mhz out of them

i love em though as you might be able to tell from my sig :D

Not a bad overclock at all! I think the max I have ever seen from a 3200+ under watercooling was around 2.7Ghz. So your OC is very respectable. ;)

not bad at all, after a lot of failed attempts, i just didnt bother overclocking mine anymore, i think i have 3 duff for overclocking chips tbh, cant get much out of any of them really

think i've had 200 MHz out of the 4200+ but that was it

you are pretty much at the max for that chip tbh, nice job!!! my 3500+ will top out at 2.9 on air with some silly volts!!!!. I do have pics!!

@ionicle:you still have that 4200+?wanna sell it?

i'd only want to sell it if i could get my hands on a 4800+ as its the chip in my main system at the moment, and has been for 2 years

fair enough,I am looking for a replacement for my Opty 165 and they are a bit thin on the ground atm

your telling me, i'm digging around to try and get a bit more power without leaving the 939 platform, they are few and far between though, my friends about to chuck his old pc out and its got a 3500, its dead from too much dust, i dont know the actual problem, but i'm trying to talk him into giving me it

I have a 3500+ sat here doing nothing,as I really want a D/C 939 for my backup/media pc,If I find a nice backup it yours mate(It will hit 2.9,with a bit of help)

sounds good, thanks, i have an opty 146 sat somwhere in my pc room (tip) lost it yonks ago along with some other odds and ends, but that wouldnt go from 2.0 to anything more than 2.2

hense it being replaced with a 4200+

The dog doesn't seem too impressed, but getting 2.7ghz, stable, on the 939 is a great achievement.

General easy stable is around 2.4ghz iirc, 2.7 for reckless testing. They seem to cap around 2.75<2.9.
