Think Asus is making it clear that this is their no BS z790 offering. The z690-a was similar to me except it needed wifi. Glad they added that.

The struggle I see with most z790 boards is the spacing on the second PCIe 5.0 slot since RTX 4080/4090 are all 4 slot cards. Can't use it anyway so it matters less with this board.

I agree, it is a good entry into z790.
