i was wondering if anyone was able to confirm that a SM951 will indeed work in the onboard m.2 slot on the Asus X99-E WS?
I have seen a lot of people report issues on different bios releases, and it seems to be just luck on if this works or not. The drive will be used as a cache drive for a build using unRaid by lime technology.
The motherboard itself should support the 20x80 size, and states it is a pcie m.2 slot, but better safe then sorry.
