Asus X99 Deluxe high motherboard temperatures?

Just wondering what temperatures people are getting on their x99 boards, doesnt have to be the deluxe specifically. Please also let me know whether or not any OC is applied.

I've been getting motherboard temps of ~51c+, currently 5930K OC'd to 4.0Ghz at 0.97v, seems a tad high to me, so just want to see if its normal.

I heard rumors of this board smoking and reading really high temps. Maybe you can google that; I can't confirm anything.

Yea, read about that too, however it would appear that it was an isolated incident.

50 odd c isnt that bad and the smoking thing was a mosfet issue due to mega early bios and silly high memory speeds. deffo nothing to worry about now

Newbie, got a Deluxe myself, I'll have a check on mother board temps when I get back from work buddy.

Got a question for you though, the clear layer over the white trim on the mosfet/PCH Chipset is peeling off on my board, had it for just shy of a month, is it just a protective layer d'you know and have you experienced the same?

It is just a protective layer, I peeled it off as soon as I got all my components installed.
