ASUS TUF X470-Plus Review

... It always annoys me when motherboards ship without full voltage control. I don't like using voltage offsets, they differ far too much from board to board and don't offer the kind of control that I would expect when overclocking. I would have expected more from an X470 motherboard.

why not? i have two of them and they run flawless 24/7.

Lucky you. I can't even shut off the damn motherboard LEDs without cutting power to the system (and yes the option IS set in the bios). I've also had to revert to stock due to stability issues. Not impressed.

Yes - you can overclock the asus tuf x470-plus gaming

I get so tired of reading reviews where they want to compare hardware to the flagship hardware when most folk are not going to notice a difference between any of these MB's with the same hardware build, and Clearly the only ones slipping here is this reviewer not Asus. I personally have this MB in my current build with a liquid-cooled Ryzen 2600x and you can most certainly overclock this board in the bios... you can also save OC profiles etc. The reason I went with the ASUS TUF X470-PLUS GAMING is more for the "TUF" Over-built Protection. I live is an area that is hot and humid in the summer or cold and electrostatic-dry in the winter. Plus everyone knows that Precision Boost is the way to go with a Ryzen CPU anyway. And if you want to OC a Ryzen on-the-fly... just use Ryzen Master software.

YES - the Grapics Card PCIe slot is reinforce

Right from the ASUS website

SAFESLOT
Protect your graphics card investment

SafeSlot is the PCIe slot reinvented by ASUS and engineered to provide superior retention and shearing resistance. Manufactured in a single step using a new insert-molding process, SafeSlot integrates fortifying metal for an inherently stronger slot, which is then firmly anchored to the PCB through additional solder points.

And you can clearly see the the Grapics Card PCIe slot is reinforce just by looking at it!
