Not surprising, Many products within the last 2 years have had so many corners cut in the quality department.

I don't think it's a quality cut.
Having read the report it is conflicting. One says the ICs are not for the RAM, whilst another one says that faulty SPD information in DDR5 seems to be massively over volting the RAM and blowing ICs.
Knowing how dodgy new RAM technology usually is my suspicion is leaning toward the latter. I am sure we will find out the cause in time. I was just about to say "I bet Buildzoid will know more" and looked him up.

From a quick watch it seems a capacitor has been soldered on backward.
