Ummmmm slight issue could be that where the hell does the I/O of the GFX cards go? They wont fit out the back of the case, that's for sure.

Would this work with my Maximus III Gene? I didnt realise the GPU slots on my Gene motherboards were so close together before I bought the motherboard so my GPU's are only a few Milimetres appart. I need something like this.

Firstly this isn't designed to fit in a case (unless it's custom) it's for that very small ie as Asus called it 1% of enthusiasts bonkers enough and with enough money to try out 4 way SLI. Secondly Steve it will only work with the Rampage 3 Extreme.

Its not designed for cases no, this is for world record style bench marking not everyday normal user style sales.

If it was for world record style benching... I'd just use a board with the two NF200 chips built in that is actually designed for it and not just bolted on.

I asked because the article says this

So will this work on my board?

I might just change my motherboard for an atx motherboard once I have this one paid for.

Hmm apologies Steve appeared to have missed that bit. Anyhow it still wont fit the Gene becuase it fits/slots in the first and third pci-e slots of the main board and your Maximus only has two to begin with therefore it wont interface correctly.

No problem. I will just change my motherboard for a motherboard with better PCI Express spacing next year.
