Even for a ROG product the Spatha is stuffed full of every technology you can think of. We take it for a spin.
ASUS ROG Spatha Wireless Gaming Mouse Review

I need this mouse in my life !!!
This is Spatha, HAROG...HAROG...HAROG ! ^_^
and then youll need the Claymore - because matching.
It's a nice bit of kit, I just wish it didn't sound like Leonidas with a lisp.
This is the 3rd review that claims the Spatha got an optical sensor, while the specification tab on the Asus site itself says its a laser mouse.
Did they change the sensor type in the final product?

I'm really considering pre-ordering this mouse but getting a lot of stick from people telling me its overpriced ROG tat and to get the logitech G900.
Do you think its worth the £140 price tag? Will it last? and how well does it operate?
Cheers

Youll always get that reaction from people. Same if you were to buy Razer or Corsair.
A mouse is a very personal item so the best we can do is tell you what we can and then you decide. I cant see any reason why it wouldnt last, weakest point would be the cable and thats removable.
Id personally lve to see a more FPS orientated version of this without the buttons on the side.
It's only £5 more than the G900, with the G900 you can swap the buttons depends if you want that feature both are RGB.
Cheers TTL.
How do you think it compares to the G900?
I know Logitech are known for their amazing mice / sensors.
Problem with this mouse for me, is that I feel it might just be a 'good' mouse with the ROG Premium price slapped on but without the Premium quality.
Hello there!
I'm new here. First good job tiny very impressive work on your reviews.
Anyway, i wonder if you tried to pull off the battery of the Spatha to make it less heavy and if it was working in wired mode.
Best regards.
