ASUS reveals its next-level ROG Swift 360Hz eSports Gaming Display with Nvidia G-Sync

If comments for 280Hz monitor on the Facebook page were horrid what will this monitor get? :D

I like that monitors have started evolving. For years there was pretty much nothing.

this screen's staggering 240Hz refresh rate.
 So it's only 360Hz after overclocking it? I thought the results of OC'ed monitors were not that pleasing.

If it's affordable (which it won't be), I'd actually get it!

Sorry, that one was a typo. Fixed now. 1080p 360Hz shouldn't be a problem with DisplayPort 1.3/1.4.

I watched Nvidia's Youtube video that was attached in the article and I must say that the player that had included in the video, Nothing, really seemed to know what he was talking about, and not just reading a script. And actually gave some really solid points when it came to the monitor and it's 360Hz. First time I genuinely "understood" their ration behind creating a certain product.

I think only HDMI 2.1/DP2.0 are capable of this without compression. It'll be interesting to see what ports they use

DisplayPort 1.2 supports 1080p at 240Hz with ease. This screen doesn't need DisplayPort 2.0, 1.4 is adequate. HDMI 2.0 won't be enough though.
