ASUS releases MG24UQ 24-inch and MG28UQ 28-inch Ultra HD FreeSync Monitors, both of which have a FreeSync range of 40-60Hz.

im not sure how i'd get on with a 24" 4k monitor. Great for gaming and films but i don't know about web browsing and anything else that you would want to read

TBH I think 4K is best at 32" or larger. I use a 28" 4K monitor and it isn't really much better than 1440p, especially with the performance hit.

IMO 24inch is too small where the 28 inch is ok but it should have been 29 inch & 34 inch monitors

I'm starting to think 28 inch is too small. IMO i think 34 inch is the sweet spot for Ultra Wide.

73" is the sweet spot for me but I'm dreaming there. Bezelless triple 27" all in one display.

Depends what your using it for tbh - look at the iMac 5k's they look pretty sweet in a 27"

For movies or drivable gaming then yeah I think 34" 1440 is pretty spot on.

The question is easy to answer IMO the best 34 inch ultra wide on the market at is the Acer Predator X34 it just blows everything else out of the water even the ASUS one.

I'm not normally a fan of Acer monitors but that monitor is just pure sexy.

I'd be happy with either - however I think I'll end up with a pretty vanilla 34" as long as it's 3440*1440 I'm not really into FPS so I don't need uberness it's more about field of view (Driving/Tanks/Flight sims/Elite Dangerous) and of course watching movies that support native 21:9 They just look amazing and the viewable screen size is the same as a letterboxed 40"
I do like the ASUS gaming crosshair overlay though. A few games that would have been handy for.
