Be aware that this card is visually identical to previous versions of the card except for the power requirement.

GTX950-2G is the product code, GTX950-2GD5 and GTX-950-OC-2GD5 both require additional power. From Asus product photos, even the packaging will be the same, so if you are after this one specifically, be careful which one you are buying.

I'm interested to see these benched next to the 6 pin variant, those core clocks and boosts look way low compared to mine.

This card is reference clocks, and what is on the box is always the minimum that the card is capable of.

It would be very interesting to see how this fairs against normal GTX 950 GPUs though.

Really glad this is a thing, Im always interested in low power PC's but with as good performance as possible

GTX 950s are epic and shouldn't be over looked, this card would be awesome for a HTPC or ITX 1080 gamer.

So how does the GTX 950's compare to the GTX 960 then?...

The 2 950s I have are extreme overclocked from KFA2 when paired are on par with a single 970 only down side is the reduction in memory I only have 2GB per card compared to the 3.5GB  You get on the 970. But with the advent in DX12 memory allocation I'm excited to see how they behave in the future. GTA V is the only game so far that scales beautifully SLI.

Love the colour - might be a really good option when I retire this one to media/server duties. But two just because it looks right. ;)
