ASUS PB248Q 24" vs ASUS PB278Q 27"

Hey guys,

So I'm thinking of getting a 2nd monitor, dedicated for photoshop/video making use.

I've come across the PB278Q from ASUS, although... 27" is a bit too much for me, I like 24" is enough for me.
So I found the PB248Q... but it's an IPS panel compares to an PLS on the PB278Q. Does this do anything/effect the performance or color reproduction of the monitor?...

Do you guys know other good 24" monitor for this purpose?...

Thanks!

In my industry artists tend to use the 27" 1440p Dell IPS variants.

From my understanding there is little difference between PLS and IPS, with some manufacturers stating that their display uses an IPS panel when in fact it is PLS.

I would prefer a higher res for PS/Editing personally.

True that, although it's mainly down to price. As the 27" is double in price, hence why I asked regarding the 24" and it's panel.

Will see what I'll go with on this one, thanks for your reply/input though dude! Much appreciated! :)
