I recently purchased the i7 970 for a great price, and started looking into overclocking. I came across TTL's Videos and was inspired to try. However i do not have any other components yet. I have been watching and reading a good bit on motherboards and ram that will be suitable. So i've been looking at The ASUS P6x58d-e and the Sabertooth. I can get the p6x58 for a great price as well, actually less than the sabertooth. From what i have been reading they are both great boards but i need an opinion on the the better board for pushing upper 4ghz range. Would there be any advantages in either one of these boards, like True 16+2 Phase Power. Dont really know how this works but ive seen you guys mention it before. Also, If i cant find the mushkin ram you guys talk so highly of, what would be your next suggestion be. So for this is what im looking at. I have very little experience in overclocking but im ready to jump in, So i will surely be asking lots of questions. If you dont mind.
