Asus P5W HD Deluxe Crash in Win Xp Instal

Hi

I have my new computer but in the Windows installation the computer Crash (installation of the peripherals)

Asus P5W DH Deluxe

Intel E6600

2*1GB Ocz Gold

X1900 AIW

2*Maxtor 250GB 16m en Raid 0 (on EZ-Backup)

2 Burner DVD Nec

Antec NEO HE 500W

Win Xp Sp2
 
Hi Chaos,

I take it that you are running @ stock at the moment?

I would try going into your bios and using optimised defaults to see if that helps.

Have you got any other devices installed in your machine (sound cards etc)? It may be worth removing any non-essentials to see if that helps.
 
have you tried stipping everything out other than the essentials and just one hdd and one stick of ram?

1. Yes is @ stock

2. Every thing is at optimised

3. Only de video card

It's the next thing I try ...

I remove MB Firewire and Wifi and the instal has finish but the it's frezze at the user selection..... I try the safe mode and same thing

And Linux Suse 10.1 Work.....
 
Its a long shot, but when you say it freezes are you certain that its frozen and just not able to detect your USB mouse/keyboard (if thats what you've got)?
 
you have a pci firewire card?

and make sure u are using a ps2 mouse and/or ps2 keyboard to check xms' idea. it really does sound like windows isnt detecting your peripherals

Yes

The Wifi "F*ck the dog ...." (A French canadien Expresion ....)

Now the computer work but not the wifi ....

Edit : I make a Clean Cmos and now every thing work ...
