Asus P5N32-E and OCZ memory

Just purchased an Asus P5N32-E board, and need some memory to go with it!

OCZ seem to consistantly get good reviews for their memory.

So lookinig on SpecialTech I saw these two kits:

OCZ 2Gb (2x1gb) OCZ2SOE800URB2GK DDR2 PC6400 CL4.0 4-4-3-15 Dual Channel Special Ops Urban Elite Edition @ £130.88

Ocz Dual Channel Titanium 2GB (2x1gb) PC-6400 DDR2 800 CL4.0 EPP Ready OCZ2T8002GK 4-4-4-15-1T @ £131.14

Has anyone got any experience with any of the above memory (which kit is best?), especially with the Asus board?

Or perhaps you have a different suggestion for the best memory to go with this board?

Firstly: Welcome to OC3D :)

You can find a review of the OCZ Platinum here. It did pretty good in our testing and is certainly a good match for the Nvidia based boards.

As for the Urban Elite - I've seen a few sites rate it really well. It's apparently a pretty decent overclocker.

Thanks for the incredibly quick reply! And warm welcome.

I had seen that review (which put me on to SpecialTech).

I know there is only 26p in it, but I don't know which one to choose!

Is the Titanium the better kit?

Personally I'd get the Titanium, but then that's because I don't want some camo cr@p in my PC

Welcome to the Forums mate :hello:

After a bit of digging it looks like both kits feature ProMos IC's so really there's going to be little or no difference between them. In which case, I'd go with the cheapest or whatever one you prefer the look of.

I would have to agree with you on the Camo design.

I don't have a window on my case so I guess when it is in I won't see it anyway!

The Special Ops kit seems to sell at a much high price else where on the net, but that could be because it is a so called limited edition rather than it is any better!

Thanks for your help. :D
