Asus MX239H, VS239H-W, or alternatives?

Looking for a new monitor that isn't black (I'm aware MX back is black). And now leaning towards white instead of silver as changed chassis.

Historically I've always been interested by the MX239H for the built in speakers so I wouldn't need to use headphones when playing games you don't need directional cues, e.g. Civilization 5 with constant ambient music and occasional voices.

But I prefer the white casing VX239H-W except it sacrifices speaker power and omits Trace Free adjustment?

If anyone has owned either model I wanted to check on ghosting, and what setting for trace free on the MX239H is best to eliminate it? Owner feedback I've seen varies between turning trace free to 0, staying below 60, then others mention no discernable difference at any setting. No consensus.

The VX doesn't include trace free setting going by specification page, so not sure if different panel to MX239H. If anyone can comment on ghosting speakers clarity, as only video I seen the speakers sounded too quiet but could be due to camera used to film.
