The one near the PCI slot is a 1394 header which is not listed in the Motherboard manual your right. It looks very similar to an internal USB 2 header if you were not paying enough attention
My Rampage 5 Extreme has two near the thunderbolt port which arnt listed in the manual either
Well the OC Panel uses a 1394 in conjunction with a internal USB 2 header which are placed next to each other on the Motherboard. Called "ROG_EXT" The OC panel and the Base station cable (which are identical) fit over both headers.

It cant be that though, the base station (unlike the OC Panel) uses both a ROG connector and a 7 pin AAFP. The AAFP looks different to the other pin header and I can see it labled on the bottom left of the Motherboard
