Really nice board, has what it needs and a pretty nice price tag.

I really don't see the point in getting a motherboard for 1150 that costs over 200 quid, you might as well get the X79/X99 boards of the same price tag and get a lot more upgradeability.

Or if your already on Z87 according to Anandtech it's really not worth switching over, It will be like switching from a 3770K to a 4770K but a tad less according to some people I've been talking to.

I was talking from the perspective of an upgrade from pre-SB hardware. If you can afford a 4770k and some 250 quid board, you might as well get a 4820k and a 200-250 quid X79 board, although at this point it is worth considering the wait for X99...

Nice board, but for me theres no enought SATA ports for me... I had to wait and see what can the other (expensiver) boards bring to us.

Hi

Any idea of release date. I just made a bunch of purchases for my upcoming H440 rig for my birthday in July. Was going to get a MSI Gaming GD65 or the VI Hero board. I will be keeping my 4770K processor from my current Mini Mac Pro Hackintosh and replacing that one with 4670K processor. I really love the look of the board from Tom's video, and am "properly" giddy and want it.

Awe Crud, Newegg.com just put it up for pre-order releasing on the 11th. I have no money on the cards so going to have to wait.
