Looks amazing but out of my price range sadly.
I just picked up the z97 ranger and it does everything i need but ascetically that formula is gorgeous.

Looks great, I already bought the Maximus VII Hero, so am interested in any potential differences other than the extra SATA and SATA Express.

Other than the 2 differences you mentioned there wont be much going by the Asus spec sheet apart from if you were moving from Z87 to Z97 like Tom did moving his 4770K over from Z87 to Z97 which saw a nice little boost in overclocking ability
