asus maximus extreme raid issues

hey guys

havin some issues here.

let me summarise whats happened in very brief detail - no point boring you:

I was running dual RAID.

1x RAID 0 (on motherboard)

1x RAID 10 (using adaptec card)

raid card died, lost all data, RMAd adaptec RAID card and also all the 4x HDDs.

Now....I've bought myself a new raid card (rocketraid) and some brand new western digitals, but i'm having some issues:

I had these issues with the adaptec, but i managed to sort them out as the adaptec raid and the motherboard raid showed up in the BIOS boot sequence.

Issue is the following:

If I put the rocketraid card in the system, it shows up in the BIOS, it loads just after BIOS, it shows in the boot devices...........BUT.......my motherboard RAID doesn't.

My motherboard raid hosts my OS raid and subsequently i need to be able to boot it, but for some anal reason, asus boards decide to boot secondary RAID before motherboard RAID.

so let me summarise:

motherboard RAID = bootable OS (windows)

rocketraid card = multimedia hard drives (non bootable)

in boot sequence, motherboard RAID is not coming up, nor does it seem to be initialising.

any ideas peeps? really need to sort this out.
