Has anyone else got one of these and unlocked the extra shaders?
Reason I ask is that general consensus is you can't flash these cards as it's a non reference pcb.
If that's the case can someone explain what the switch actually does, asus makes mention of enabling some dvi mode or other but I've unlocked shaders on mine and in switch position 1 gpu-z shows 1536 shaders or whatever and in switch position 2 it shows 1408. How's that possible if it's not running 2 different firmwares?

P.S. just ordered my second 6950 which I'm intending to unlock, then compare with other 6970 crossfire benches. Will let you know.
