ASUS GTX 570 DCUII Cooler on OEM ASUS GTX760?

Hi there folks. I happen to have a naked 760 here which I pulled from a faulty rig. My little brother has the first one mentioned in the title.

I assume its the 2 slotted one since he's too stupid to pull it out himself. Now since I can't use it myself I figured I'd give it to him since he really needs the VRAM boost (3GB vs 1,2GB).

Unless you can buy a spare DCUII cooler for the 760 I can't really think of another way to do this.

Your thoughts below! :)

check both boards and see if there is a possibility of transferring the cooler from the 570 to the 760. If it is too far from fitting, have you considered something like the Gelid Solutions Icy Vision Rev.2 VGA Cooler?

I've had a look and it looks like the chip has been moved and there are less screw holes... :(

Aren't there any DCUII coolers avail or is 3rd party my only option?

Your best bet for a replacement cooler would be to find someone who has water cooled their card or find a faulty 760 for sale. Past that, as far as I'm aware, would be a 3rd party cooler. Hopefully someone on here will spot the post and have a bit more of an idea on cost and sourcing one for you. Good luck with the hunt.

Is that the same PCB they used for the 680s and some 670s (which are basically 760s)? In that case you could still get away with an aftermarket cooler if that's compatible with the reference 680/670 PCBs.
