ASUS announces their ROG Strix XG35VQ display

I really, really hope monitor quality control will pick up with these new additions. I don't mind paying a lot of money as long as it's worth it.

This 48hz minimum is super annoying. They need to hurry up and get it down to 30hz. It's been more than enough time honestly
Does LFC not solve this issue?
I was interested in it until I seen it was a VA panel. I want a freesync panel to go above my acer x34 but want 100hz, freesync with lfc and ips. Would prefer to pay high end for something decent.
Its the one reason I cant consider AMD gpus at the moment as I couldnt go down from the X34 to lower after using it.

Pretty cool, Although my next monitor upgrade will have to be at the very minimum a 4K 120Hz+ 32" quantum dot panel, I imagine we'll see them next year.

The only change I'd like for a monitor is VA/IPS. That's it. Even with that yearning, I'm quite contented with my TN panel. 1440p, 144Hz, 27", Freesync range of 40-144Hz, Freesync not functioning at the moment, I'm contented. I just want a well made VA or IPS panel with those specifications. I don't think I'd pay the extra €200 G-sync monitors call for.

No it doesn't. I'd rather have the native thing. I spent enough time in the low FPS range with my last rx480 to notice that it doesn't really help all that much. It's a small benefit but nothing to write home about.
