ASUS 780ti issue

Hello
I believe there is something wrong with my 780ti Product Link.

So, I have two of these, in SLi. The case is, when I got them around Christmas, I could not get them to work in SLi. The option to enable SLi was just greyed out in the Nvidia config. This week I moved, and reinstalled the graphics cards.
Now at least Nvidia claims they are set up in SLi.

However, I see some irregularity, both then and now.
This card has a lit logo that changes colour based on workload. The top card, with the monitor plugged in, is blue, as expected.
But the second card is green and fading in and out.
Also, on the short end of the cards, there is a button for a "safe mode". On the second card, this one is lit up.

I just feel like the second card is trying to tell me something, and I cannot find out what this means anywhere.

They are plugged into PCI_E 16_1 and 16_2 slots, the second card has no monitors, and is set to handle PhysX.

I ran 3DMark, and it looks good. Test resulkts. Edit: changed to the 'share-link'

Like I kind of hinted at, the computer seems to tell me everything is fine, I just don't like that the second card is acting up.

Would you be awfully surprised if I told you it did nothing? (It did nothing, by the way) I pressed the button once, then twice in quick succession, then I held it in for 5 seconds. All with the system running.

So, my cards phantom problem seem to have solved itself after running for some hours.
All the correct lights are there.
Computers, man...
