ASRock release worlds first displayport motherboard

Displayport is good technology, but I'm thinking it's gonna have a tough time replacing DVI and HDMI as they seem to serve high def content just fine right now

Yeah there seemed to be quite a bit of chat about it before HDMI became quite so wide spread.

Your right though... Until HDMI starts to struggle for bandwidth then people paying money for new DisplayPort hardware isn't that likely.

nice!,but i cant see the point at the momenteverything seems to be covered at the moment with not too many problems, maybe in 12 months or so it will start to be a bit more widespread(and no offence to asrock, but they are unusally quick with something like this)

Am I missing something, thought an Abit AMD board had one ? Small factor thing.

(might`ve been something that never saw the light of day mind)
