Its a great o/c but i am sure you ll get more performance and better o/c from your new built spec. Do some prime95 to see if your baby is stable. Waiting for your benchmarks
Got the same opy and had it running sweetly at 2.86 (had it 2.9 but no screenshot) on air http://img8.imageshack.us/my.php?image=oc10ec.jpg no heating or crashing problems - and this is with crappy ram - so you should get a bit more out that one - the one thing I did find was that the longer it ran the better it was to OC
From what i hear they are not making the Opteron socket 939 chips any more? but yeah i will deffinetly let you know how well she does in the MSI K8N NEO4 PLAT!
Orderd the Motherboard and the HDD and just got the Ballistix so now im just decideding on the video card
EDIT: Frag you should deffinetly get one of these chips if there available! i got mine just before christmas time got lucky with the 0543 CAYBE!
Haha, yep. That board overclocks well but the BIOS is a PITA. Me and Gunsmoke spent about an hour trying to get it to cooperate, after numerous BIOS versions, etc.
