I'm going to play the waiting game. Xbox has never appealed to me so I'm leaning towards PS4, but will probably wait for PS4 slim hardware refresh. Would like to see them add dnla features back in like on the PS3. I made the mistake of buying the WiiU at launch. Last time I played it was December 2012. Now with the WWHD bundle I would have preferred to buy now lol.

Neither, at least not for the moment.

I did have a pre-order on the PS4 but cancelled it. Main concern is it'll just overheat like they usually do on release. I also just built my rig so don't need a console. Probably won't get one at all because I hardly ever play games now. The only thing that would make me consider is GTA 6, which is years away...

I'd honestly wait for the PS4 and Xbox to come out until there has been a fair comparison and not be influenced by the Sony hype train.

Hype train? The hype being it's gpu alone is 50% faster? Better exclusives? Better indie support? Focused more on gamers first and not have to change all policies just to please everyone? Microsoft damn near copied Sony's policies on a plethora of things...

Anyway i would go for PS4. Got more horses under the hood which means better eye candy; which is everything to me on a console since they will both get 90% of all the same games.

Also read earlier this morning that the PS4 will be playing COD:Ghosts at true 1080p at 60fps... Xbone? A measly upscaled 720p and 60fps.. The fact that COD isn't at 1080p and has never been that taxing of a game just shows how much of a difference that extra 50% of processing power can come into play.

Lol? See this is what I'm saying. I didn't say one was better than the other. I simply stated a fact that the PS4 has more hype than the Xbox and hype with speculation is never a solid reason to get one product over another.

I stated facts(excepts games; that is subjective). I gave the reasons the PS4 has more hype.. the way you stated it earlier made it sound like you were against a PS4. So sorry that caused confusion...

Difference between the too is that PS4 has had all good hype and was applauded from the start because it has done many things correctly that gamers want. Xbone just screwed up bad and has not gotten it to get any better by much. Sure they fixed it but not many people will actively search to see if it has gotten better, they take it from the first thing they hear then walk away.

some of the console exclusives are just too good to miss. and in my opinion if you havent played metal gear solid 1-4 including peace walker then you are missing one of the greatest series of all time ever. i am practically wetting myself with excitement for the ps4 launch. ive had the thing pre ordered for so long.

one thing about the 'next gen console war' is how all the ms reviews are saying how the fact ghosts is only 720 doesnt matter on xb1 and ign then posted an article to inform everyone that the ps4 isnt as good as it seems and then listed 10 pathetic reasons. it just seems that most publications have been bought out by ms. it mildly irritating

PS3! Until GTA V comes to other platforms the PS3 will be the only console I want to own. I'm just glad my 6 year old fat PS3 is still holding on!

If GTA V came out on next gen but not PC then I would be forced to decide. I have always preferred the Sony offering all round but I have grown to love the xBox controller from using it with my PC, that might be enough to swing me towards an XB1.
