Are my temps acceptable?

Good evening everyone.

I recently downloaded HW Monitor and was wondering if anyone could tell me if my temps are within an acceptable range. Everything is idling at the moment and I have scaled the GPU fan up to 45% manually. My i5 is currently not overclocked.

All feedback is appreciated,

Thanks!

EDIT: I am unsure of the room temperature but I'd guess it's anywhere between 15 and 18 degrees Celsius.

Perfectly fine temps mate. My 2500k idles at 40 ish but never goes over 57 at load. Load temps are more important than idle :) try running prime 95/unigene then show us the max temps :)

Hi there!

Thanks for the speedy reply!

I am going to download Unigene Heaven and Prime95 right now and I'll post an update with a screenshot of the load temps.

Also, is it safe to have the system fans at 100% load all the time? I recently scaled them up in the BIOS as they were sitting at 65%.
Apologies if that's a complete retard question, haha!

Ok, here we go.

One of the screenshots is a Unigene Heaven benchmark temp and the other is the Prime95 CPU temp. Note the max temp on the CPU is in the low 80s. This was done with the stock Intel cooler as I haven't actually installed my H80i yet, lol!

get that h80i in asap you wont regret it tbh the load temp at 80c i wouldnt be happy with that myself you want 60 or below for everyday use :D

Depends if the noise annoys you on 100% really. I had mine on 65% before i got a 3x3 pin 7v cable to slow them down :) As UkGouki said get the h80i in there mate :) itll be alot better and quieter. Still pretty good temps mind :)

Yeah, I actually stopped the test because of that. When I game, however, My temps only hit mid to high 60s which I am happy with> I find Prime95 to be somewhat over the top compared to every day usage.

I'm going to install the H80i tomorrow morning. I can't wait :)

The noise isn't an issue at all. To be honest, I didn't notice any difference in noise upon increasing it. I also have my headset in a lot of the time, for gaming and music when I'm browsing/sending emails etc, so I can't hear a thing :)

Thank you both for your replies!
