Are Intel's New iGPU-less Coffee Lakes Processors Worth it?

£10 cheaper. So at retail same price.

One saving grace they may have, however, is that they may clock higher due to less heat.

We'll see :)

Since the difference is so small only a sucker would buy these IMO. iGPU is a nice thing to have and certainly worth a tenner.

From what I've heard , density is the same, the gpu die is still in the package, just broke...

Yeah I've heard this. Also people who have tested by turning off the iGPU on the K versions have said no extra overclock room is given as a result so doubt we will see it here.

£10 off at MSRP ... Intel you are taking the biscuit with this one!

Core i5-9600K £259.98
Core i5-9600KF £279.49

This is just retarded... You get less for more money...
I have a 7700k and I'm eager to switch to amd as soon as the ipc matches my 7700k... Just because of these "stunts"...

It's not a defect, it's a feature (where is my check intel?)

On more serious note, this is pathetic. I'm tired of this kind of crap to be honest. Same thing applies to nvidia and amd.

Is anyone surprised? Does no one remember the last time Intel sold CPUs without the iGPU? They were literally $5 less. If they were anymore than £10 less, they'd probably sell more of them than they realistically have, because that's not too far off the amount of value most system builders would actually assign to it. This was always just gonna be a pipe cleaner product rather than a value proposition, this is Intel.
