Hi all,

I have just finished putting together my birthday rig very limited space and money so went for a solid rig that looks good and is functional for what i need from her..

all parts are brand new i made all the custom sleeved extensions myself this morning (lol)

i choose the components to get a solid bang for buck build

near future upgrades include i5 cpu, better gfx card, custom water cooling by me and will change out for a better psu

i really love the cable sleeving, could do with them being a little tidier. other than that its nice mate

cheers mate in a couple of days i will make some seperators so the individual look will be there, but cheers and ironically for an i3 build i can get over 50fps on high/ultra on bf3 result lol
:lol::lol::lol:

PSU would look better the other way up to hide the sticker - too much cabling to be seen too. I get that its a feature for you but it just makes my teeth itch

cheers Tom, didn't think about the psu will swap that over, when i get chance ill do some cable management and make the cables shown shorter so it doesnt look so messy.

:cool:

thanks alot, have done as ttl has said and flipped the psu and tightened the cables so they can be seen but very neat and now am stuck with loads of cables at the bottom as ssd is mounted on the back of mb tray, i am considering making up a cover for the cables similar looking to the psu and mabe have some logo's on it ??:):):)

Sounds good. If it were me, I'd be tempted to try and get that AIO rad in the front if it'll fit, and you don't need the drive storage.

ill have aplay around later and change it to intake and stick an exaust fan at the back in its place, see what it looks like

Id leave the AIO where it is but the drive cage could be removed for better airflow - also cables in that case should still be fine - just zip clip them up. You may need to start from scratch with the cables but it will be worth it once they are all hidden round the back IMHO

ok guys thanks for all your advice and ideas i have had a play and cable tied as much of the cables as possible i think it looks alot neater and more minimalistic i removed the extra hdd cage which gave me less cable hiding room lol so a few pics below to show what i have done

you need to change the links dude - easier way is use the direct link then put IMG tags around it or paste the code into the "add image" button

Your images aren't showing properly, but it looks nice and neat. I'd still put the AIO in the front - but that's just me...

right guys now i have sorted it all for the moment i am now looking for a clear side window for the arc, i could cut and put one in myself as have done on many cases but really want a clear replacement as my one is smoked, also im looking to upgrade my card to a gtx but really want the logo glowing so does anyone know when this became a feature on the cards and what would be a good bet money is an issue so best bang for buck would be good, or a couple of reasonably priced crossfire cards ?????
