Yeah, April fools. You have to follow a bunch of links to get to the confirmation. Do feel a little silly now for worrying a bit >.<

Bench 4 April !

Just finished my 2nd DICE run and uploaded my scores.

Here's a couple of pics to tease you.

Just gonna finish my cuppa and go to bed.

some nice scores there mate but what was going on with your ram in the 1m run, 5-7-7-20?

I was messing about with the timings when benching the Q9550 trying to get a better CPU-Z score. Forgot to change them back.

When I did change them back it made no difference. A bit disappointed with the Quad results, expected more from it on sub-zero.

Nice clock on the E6800 tho.

I think it's the board. My gskill memory doesn't clock too well with this board and that quad. Really need a DDR3 mobo for this.

Which gskills do you have?

Only from what I have seen these gb boards love gskill sticks.

I think I was at my boards limit around there too beacause no matter what I tried I couldn't get it to stay stable much above that.

I want to get a wolfdale to see how high that will go in it but I need to free some cash up first.

They're Gskill F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK. DDR2-1066

The most I've had out of these is 1118.

Compare that to my GIEL DDR2-800 which went up to 1030 and it's not a great overclock.

Nice to go to Cyprus for work, where in Cyprus were you working?

Was based in Limassol but spent most of the day up The Troodos Mountains.

It was nice to go somewhere where the temperature hit 35 degrees at this time of year.

Most bizarre thing was being at the top of Mount Olympus in shorts and T-shirt with my feet in five inches of snow.

Sadly I'm back home in the cold South Wales climate once more.

Nice one Mr Moose.

Q6600 @ 4275 on air

Very nice.

Yea I was gob smacked when it just kept on going!

Only planned to have a little test with the chip as I have never clocked the q6600 before but ended up having a propper bench session with the thing.

Need my dice pot now to have some real fun.
