Apple TV Now Shipping

Apple has started shipping its Apple TV set-top box and apparently will retail for US$299. Anyone going to get one?

I would get one if the hard drive were a little bigger. Its only 40GB. Link

For its size, I like what its packing:

GeForce Go 7300 (64mb GDDR3) and a Pentium M (256mb DDR2)

I imagine that it probably uses a 2.5" laptop HD which could easily be upgraded to 160 or 200gb.

I think my room mate and I are going to get one of these in the new house.

Edit: And because of the fact that it runs on a Pentium M that probably means it has a ZIF socket like the Mac Mini does and the proccy could be upgraded Wonder which chipset it has in it, if its Core Solo compatible that would be sweet.

Shame it's only 40gb and also it's a shame it's not got a freeview type input. But at least it is affordable I guess.

It does have USB for expansion tho I guess so external hdd could be a good upgrade
