Apple iPhone Comes To The UK

There`s a whole host of utils out there now to allow u to do stuff (official and `unofficial` ) with them (or turn them into bricks).

I'm getting a dead link.

Wonder how it'll take off in the UK, with the battery issue and rumours of "spying" in the US with AT&T and government

WoooHOoooo!

A phone with no network that can support its features... Ghey. Whichever network it goes on will need to spens BIG £$£$£$£ to upgrade.

It is sexy though :D

I can see this being rated highly as a xmas present this year.

Alot of people will be sold on its flash look if anything.

I know I am :D

Reading an article that (because you have to buy an 18 month contract) that this phone will end up costing you £1000. Now i know thats including the contract, but thats a hell of a lot of money for a mobile phone.

It just makes you think how much people pay for phones.

just get an N95, it actually works with any network, and its got more features than the iPhone, better camera, wifi, 3G, expandable memory, custom ringtones, GPS Satnav, bluetooth, free internet, just some of the things it has the iPhone has, if you buy something mainly on looks over function then you have more money than sense

yea, only good thing about it, altho its multi touch and alot of people only use 1 hand when using there phone, holding it is gonna be like holding a game boy. and touch screens need calibrating which can be a pain

you make it sound like this is a horrible device, for me i do not know what i would do w/o it. the display its awesome, its beyond simple with a few flicks. iv had my share of smart phones and there is really non that compares to this phone in all honesty i wouldn't even consider it as a phone its much more. apple puts it right when they say its revolutionary.

iv never had a problems with finger prints, i also use sheildzone.com so it wont get scratched.

Yup, i agree with this too..

Ok so the IPhone will have 8gb memory. Nokia say the N95 will take up to 2gb MicroSD but i've slapped a 4gb MicroSDHC card in mine and it works perfectly... Possiblity of the 8gb verions working when they are out too.

its not a horrible device, its just overpriced for what it is, old tech apart from the multi touch touch screen

Personally.. i would buy one if it wasnt locked to 02.. It looks amazing.. But i like my orange contract, unlimited texts and 500 minutes each month.. £30....
