Great review !

It's good to see a decent high refresh rate IPS panel hit the market instead of the slew of VA panels that we've gotten lately, To me VA always looks like someone smeared Vaseline on the screen ^_^

Its a shame there were too many complications with the 32inch at the time, would have taken that over the 27 if i didnt have to return it twice

I have seen it and the nights in games look exactly like they described. I, regrettably, owned and returned the 32 inch version of the G7. I had it for several months and when I first got it the thing looked amazing. However it had that extremely bad flickering issue. I updated thee firmware to "fix" the problem and it turned into a disgusting washed out mess. Not simply that...in World of Warcraft, Conan Exiles, and other games the flickering STILL happened. Yeah...I've seen the G7 and really wished I hadn't. x__x

I very briefly had the 27" G7, I instantly saw the difference between it and an IPS monitor and back it went, To me VA simply doesn't look as good.
