Anything up with OC3D?

Hi peeps

Is anyone else having issues with OC3D today? I keep getting "The server at www.overclock3d.net is taking too long to respond." errors. it takes about 3 reloads to get the page to show amd then the progress bar sits at 9/10's of the page load for around 2mins...sometimes longer. There is nothing showing on my ISP's cable status page about slow or intermittent international service, and I noticed the issue when I first got up this morning around 7.30am, and the time is now 5.15pm.

Hey mate, no problems that i'm aware of. All working ok on both my home and work internet :\

Is it just the main website, or the forums too?

Hi Jim

It's on both the main site (frontpage and forum), I read in the paper today that there was a supposed cable severed in the US somewhere...I dunno if that has anything to do with it? The thing is that I have been to a few US based sites today and there has been nothing wrong with my speed.

Yeah that's a quite feasible explanation kemp. I'll check with Pat and see if he's getting the same issue. It was his ISP who notified their customers first of a possible issue

LOL left and right brain hemisphere's were battlin' against each other. I was thinking reasonable and feasible, instead we got a combo lol.

Ok cool thanks for the status reports elsewhere guys, I guess it's just the future land thing running it's course. Although it really is starting to tick me off now, considering the Optusnet tech guys say there aren't any issues. This is what I got a few moments ago after a restart

download.php

eww, it looks like it hasn't downloaded the css file which creates all the nice boxes and gradients.

I know its a no-brainer, but have u cleared cache?

Yep sure have mate, it was the first thing I checked after looking at the network status...thanks for the suggestion though :) I guess either Optusnet have overloaded my node, or they're telling me porky pies
