Hi,
I've got one of the above with a Pentium D 840 chip hooked up to a Prometeia Mach 2 and I'm having a spot of bother with it. The original bios that the board came with (0605) works perfectly, but only allows the chip to run in single core mode, which is no good! So I flashed the bios to a later version (0802), which was successful, rebooted, then nothing, no post, no beep, just sat there. After a lot of fiddling about I got the thing to boot again, but it only boots if the evap head is above -20°C, not the usual -33°C that it's set to boot at. This is ok from a cold boot, but I really don't want to be waiting around every time I have to reboot the thing when I'm using it. I have tried other bios versions as well (0708 and 0905) and they do the same, reflash to the original bios and all is fine again.
I guess my question is, does anyone out there have the same set up as me and have they experienced the same thing and do they have any idea how to fix it?
Thanks for your time!
