Anyone chime in with radiator fan adapter experience?

I was thinking of using a 200mm radiator in my 600t but wasnt sure the 200mm fans out there were up to the task of properly cooling it to its fullest potential so would something like a 200mm to 120/140 with better static pressure make a diffrence? or perhaps even custom fab an adapter for 2 120mm fans to 200mm?

Would a push pull 200mm fan make up for the low static pressure by nature of larger fans?

when using an adapter does air not flow over all the fins equally? i envision some dead spots on the radiator when using an adapter but if anyone knows of reviews that say otherwise i appreciate your experience and advice.

you are pretty much limited on rad choices for 200mm options.
as for fans and dead space, they only critical is the hub area (dead center) where
the diffs might seen.
unless the fan is dead slow in fan speed, the mm/h20 is pretty equal amongst all
the 200 (not been a rad developed fan yet) so your pretty much stuck on a case
fan doing rad work.
the p/p is a double edged sword, especially when using light-duty fans.
on one hand, the p/p can eleviate some issues of making an air flow path, but is
restrictive on the other end.
mainly dependent on radiator selection on fin density, the fan can compliment or
destroy the capacity for cooling (or heat dissapaction).

usually a 120 fan for a <12 fins per inch is 600-1200rpm for 200 is 360-720rpm
usually a 120 fan for a 15-20 fins per inch is 1200-2500rpm for 200 is 720-1500rpm
usually a 120 fan for a >25 fins per inch is 2000-3000rpm for 200 is 1200-1800rpm
this is for optimal cooling, the lower the fan speed, the quieter-but can run warmer in
temperatures by 2°-5°+.

I'm using the new Phobya Xtreme 200 - V.2 - Full Copper in my 650D with a BitFenix Spectre Pro 200 in Pull config.

It really works like a charm.

I put a Phobya radiator sealing Strip between the Rad (Fan Mounting Plate) and the Fan to get a shroud effect.

With the distance of the sealing Strip and the Fan Mount which is included, you shouldn't have any problems with a dead Center.

But with the new Xtreme 200 - V.2, you only get one Fan Mount!
You have to figure out, if you need a second one for mounting the Rad.

Just have a look at the 600T build of Ronsanut:
