atm im running the 8800gtx on my asus striker Mobo, with XMS2 corsair 2 gig 800mhz ram and a 850 watt PSU, should i look to Upgrading the ram abit more and changing the PSU, or should i be fine with the current setup.

also is there any information i Must be informed about

before going SLI , cheers.

Just OC as much as possible with your RAM and CPU (stable of course) and that's about it

What PSU you have? Decent one ye?

hey,ye i got a 850 watt OCZ which is apparantly SLI ready, just not sure if it culd handle two 8800 gtx's hehe...

think OCZ should do fine, only thing i am concerned about is drivers. They are pretty damn sh1t, from nvidia. So you might want to look for some hacked/optimized ones, from different communities which are into this sort of thing like... wait not sure if im allowed to recommend here. Nevermind just type optimized nvidia drivers in google, and youll be on your way from there :)

Well, not only they will increase your fps and 3D mark furthermore if thats what youre after with dual 8800gtx'es, they will also repair all glitches left by nvidia "specialists" like artifacting/crashing in STALKER, CSS and other fine games.

when i dl the Driver il just download the Latest one i found? and that should have all the Updates from the Previous optimized drivers they released...Pm me ur Msn, if u get on it, cheers mate.

I use a 850W coolermaster real power pro PSU and it's fine with a clocked E6600 raid, 8800GTXs in Sli....

Just get an 850W ...but make sure it has quad PCI-e plugs!

That pic looks nutz!

Isn't one 8800GTX enough?? Surely there isn't a game out yet that a single 8800gtx can't run on full?

Main reason why i would go for a 2nd or anyone else would, Benchmarking hehe ;)

At 1920x1200 resolution.... I play some games which really push the gfx setup...OK the settings are set at silly high levels but...I'm lucky enough to have the eye candy switched to 'max and then some' by forcing driver level settings in games like IL2 1946 and FSX (sad I know) my system takes a royal battering! FSX canes the CPU big time and gives the GFX a good test..

I have been pondering a move to a phat 30" Dell....but have been discouraged not least by the Mrs LOL :nono:

And yup...I do bench on the system...and have clocked the cards well past their stock settings....what the hell...;)

Check my 3D mark 06 score in the 3DMark06 thread....:)....
