any advice on buying a laptop?

hey, i need to buy a laptop for uni cause mine's too slow and would really appreciate some advice on which to go for

the main things i'd be using it for would be:

.word/publisher etc for essays and presentations

.sibelius for music composition

.itunes...music storage

.regular internet stuff

.Olympus for photos ...storage

the operating system isnt an issue and i'm willing to buy second hand

as a student i obviously don't have a huge budget...maybe £200?

any advice is appreciated

I'd get a Dell Inspiron, our is perfect for Claire's needs and mine when I occassionally borrow it

For that price, your not really going to have much choice of spec. Basicaly i'd agree with what the guys 'n' girls said above.
