I was using AC5 thermal paste and just bought some MX-4. I don't see any differnece between the two thermal pastes. I have been playing around with how much to put on the cpu to see the difference in temps.

I have the 3570K CPU and running prime95 for 30 mins. Does anyone have this cooler and can tell me what kind of temps they are getting? My max temp are around 69 for two of the cores. I am not sure if that is a good temp or bad, I was expecting lower.

yeah most pastes need a decent burn in time. But if your just comparing you'll need to either give both the same time to burn in (or manu's directions for it) or do both with fresh applications. but most notice a tad lower temps after said burn in time.

MX-4 does NOT need a burn in time like AC5 does. That being said if you use too much or too little thermal past that will change your temps.

I keep trying different amounts and different way of applying the paste. It seems that my temps are always around the same. I wish someone else had the same cpu and cooler to see what results they were getting. It is running hotter then my original i5 and that is using an air cooler.

Guess I need to do more research and find out what other temps people are getting with this cooler. I know that Tim said that this cooler was crap. But the radiator is pretty thick with a push pull configuration.
