Antec Kuhler cooled GTX670... (pics inside)

I bought a palit GTX670 and didn't like the stock fan noise from the card. I found it very annoying.

I already had 1 kuhler 620 on my cpu and was happy with the performance. After reading online I decided to cool the GTX670 with another Kuhler 620.

The card with the fan shroud off - it's tiny!

The cables have been tidied since these pics were taken...

Running fractal fans in a R3 case on both kuhlers in push pull config. The GTX670 kuhler fans are running at full speed.

I'm also running a fractal 140mm fan at full speed under the card to cool the VRM's. I've left the stock heatsink there.

I've seen temps go from 81 Deg C at full tilt on the stock cooler go to 61 Deg C with the kuhler.

Card is also boosting to 1097Mhz without me touching it.

I'll be looking for some better fans soon though as the fractal fans don't push alot of air at all. Quiet, yes - but I'm sure there are fans just as quiet that push more air. Once I get some better fans I may start to play with overclocking.

Thoughts....

EDIT - - - - -

Overclocking results.... 8% performance increase over stock

OC to 1247Mhz and mem also oc'd

As far as the card will go. Prob not bad for a reference model.

Temps never got over 63Deg C, I just couldn't get it to run stable at any higher clocks.

That thing is tiny! It's scary to think that that thing is faster than my 580... Yet its far smaller than my old 460..

Actually one company already made one and it isn't the one TTL did in a vid of his as that was quite pathetic imo. COOL-IT makes a full cover one that is 240mm it's called the COOL-IT OMNI

I agree, but it wouldn't surprise me if there comes a time when we'll all be picking heatsinks for our CPUs as well as our GPUs. I think a enclosed loop GPU cooler would be badass. Maybe it could mount to PCI slots or something. but I digress, I think this is an amazing mod and am I right in thinking It's mounting system lines up perfectly with that of the card?

Cool it=loz aplenty

PNY=see above(who do you think made it for them?)

There is a certain site,on that site someone will make a custom bracket to fit your card and pump if you want

You can buy brackets from someone in the US. I used cable ties!!

Should fit any card, I've read a 7970 needs a copper shim? Also you have to remember to cool the VRMs.
