Soon to be reviewed is the Thermalright Ultra-90, so here's a quick preview of the testing methods and what's going to be done.
This is not a comment/suggestion thread, so if you don't like my method's, go home.
I'll be having a roundup of the following heatsinks..
I will use MSI Core Center to measure temperatures load, idle.
For load, I will run F@H and Prime95 (Mixed, Most Heat, etc.) for 15 minutes straight. The fan speed will be pegged at 100% (via Core Center.)
The thermalpaste used will be Arctic Silver Ceramique for all three tests. I will try my best to apply the same amount each time.
I will test case temperature too, by running ATi Tool Artifact Scanner for Ten Minutes, along with Prime 95.
