Another new toy for me.P4 3.4C @ 4690mhz and rising

got a new toy today as usuall...

the only chip i havent tried yet was the 3.4C

had to get one...seems like i am gonna be keeping it...

^^ socket covered with dielectric grease all arround and inside the pins and center as well as on the back of the board...

will be upping the vcore to see what it can do after the match prolly....

my order is still awaiting card autorisation even though i ordered last night...

so i mailed them and they told me they are still waiting...my missus bought a ticket for her with my switch today and it got authorised in minutes...so they prolly dont have any more stock left thus they are telling me awaiting authorisation...

they told me they are getting more connect3d XTsss though tomorrow...one hasnt been allocated for me cos my card wasnt authorised they told me though....

arghhhh

hmm doesnt seem good. Authorisation shouldnt take long at all.

Have one on order with casetech but decided to try evasham too. See if they deliver. Hopefully they will.

Overclockers rekoned they had some 6800 GT's in today but aint seen anyone with the shipment confirmation email so they may not be the only ones messing around. Bit frustrating atm with these new cards.

Got suspended on OCUK forums, lol. Was a big thread about a "competitor" having them in. Just said i saw it and saw another suppleir claiming they had stock soon (Dabs) and got suspended. Think theyre getting touchy as they lost some orders to other people.

i never had probs with my switch...they say its still awaiting authorisation....

i dunno whats gonna happen tomorrow...

+ i want to see all the guys that bought theirs off them receiving them tomorrow...

Well done in the match - sadly I fell asleep b4 the goal. All I can say about the p3.4c is WOW. I can't wait to get mine working now. Waht's your mobo in this rig?

Just checked my order and it now saying "in progress" so my switch card has been authorised and its just waiting to be picked. Means it was authorised straight way as I placed my order last night so they would only have been able to do it this morning.

so its awaiting stock....they said they are getting some more in today yeah so fingers crossed...

shame its the old heatsink...oh well i will be getting a new arctic cooler anyways...

Indeed.The rev 3 fits but I think i'll wait for the newer one to come out. Said to offer 10 degree better temps. If thats true it should be very good indeed. Fingers crossed for Evashams delivery.

they are waiting for more in 15 days FFS...

whyon earth did it take them 2 days to authorise my card when my missus and i have been buying stuff the same day withour probs?

here it is ...was hoping that i would be able to go higher with extra Vcore...seems like it needs some better cooling...am wondering where i could find some Dry Ice when i get back to Greece
