Another Air 540..

Yeah I know, another Air 540 but I had to have this case... =00=

Its very recently changed, I had a really nice Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3 motherboard which had a blue PCB and went perfect with the build but sadly after 3 years of service it shat it self :(. At the time I didnt have another CPU to test so there was a possibility that it was that, so I didnt want to spend huge amounts on a replacement mobo. I ended up getting a Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 for mega cheap and it turns out my cpu was fine and now all is cushty.

The slightly rare parts are the use of the Phanteks PH-F120HP PWM fans. For some reason phanteks dont sell these fans retail, they are specifically bundled with the TC-12DX cooler. I used this cooler before and was so impressed with the performance and quietness I contacted Phanteks and bought some more as "spares". Superb fans. I have them running at 950rpm and they are inaudable over the front AF140s. CPU only hits around 55'c avg on Prime95 @4.7Ghz, 48'c for the GPU.

Spec:
Corsair Air 540 in white

ASRock Z77 Extreme 4

i5 2500k @ 4.7Ghz - H105 with Phanteks PH-F120HP PWM in push

8Gb Corsair Vengeance black ram @ 1866Mhz

GTX 660 "OEM" @ 1300/7200mhz - with H55, Kraken G10, AF120 quiet in pull and F120HP PWM in push.

Samsung 840 256gb SSD

Seagate 1Tb ST1000DX SSHD

Corsair CX750M

Corsair Vengeance K70 Keyboard

Corsair Vengeance M65 Keyboard

Pretty happy with the rig at the moment, plays everything that I play great (currently ESO, LoL, Grid 2), the 660 oem is quite strong once bios hacked and oc'ed!

Sorry the for phone pics!

Looks pretty good. The GPU cable doesn't look great though, so it you could pull it back, behind the motherboard tray and tie it down, that would be better. Aside from that, good job!

Small update. Picked up a GTX 680 for £150, so now got that in.

Yeah I still need some nicer cables for the 24Pin mobo power and the GPU power. Still think ill get the bitfenix white extensions.
