The Nintendo Wii and Sony's PS2 still reign supreme according to industry analysts. Apparently the mass market is not yet ready for high-def gaming.

Firstly, My pc does it well!

My mate just sold his Wii for £170. He paid the same at xmas iirc.

I would have thought that there was already a massive enough uptake of Xbox360 to say that the market is ready for high def gaming.

A mass market won't exist for the PS3 if the prices remain too high.

My Wii has been unplugged for 2 months now.

My son bought a PS3 3 weeks ago and hasn't used it for 2. I wish he would though, and let me have some PC time!

PC's infact do it well, But not everyone is as compatent on a PC as people on this site. With a console, it's simple. Pop the game in and play. No installing configuring or worrying about what you should upgrade to make it playable.

Yep that's why consoles sell at all tbh. If PC's did the same thing and were easy to access on your sofa (getting better) then they would dominate

I think they are underestimating the quantity that will be re-circulated due to people getting bored of them and selling them on.

Aye I've had mine for a while. Wish it wasn't on the main TV as I hardly get time to play it (missus watching cr@p on TV)

I like it and there's some cool games out/on the way.
