Read more on AMD's "Zen/ Summit Ridge" CPUs here.

Everything there sounds very achievable, AMD already have an 8 Core with a 95w TDP with their FX 8370e and 8320e.

Hopefully by the time these CPUs are released DDR4 will be inexpensive and that AMD's move to 14nm and and the Zen Architecture will yield a significant leap in performance.

aye it does sound very achievable, and with the added bonus of DDR4 as AMD CPU's benefit from fast RAM. just hope the architecture changes have the grunt, saying that it might not matter as much with the way things are being threaded these days plus with Direct X12 coming too, AMD might be in a very good position for gaming.

I'll save my hopes for when reviews land, We need AMD to be competitive with Intels high end stuff i.e 5960X type competitive, When someone mentions AMD now all I think is "Budget" :(

Believe it when i see the reviews regarding performance. Power consumption i couldn't care less for.. mine's nearly free:P

Hopefully it does better than expected. Consumers need it

You could care less ?, So you still care a little bit or do you infact mean you couldn't care less because you could infact not care any less about it ? ;)

Well, I'll be looking to upgrade around then.

Please be a Phenom X6 successor. Please. Still don't trust AMD mind.

Only one little problem: these things are coming in 2016! By then Intel would have created Skynet's CPU and there will be non humanity to which AMD would sell stuff. They should react immediately.

I'd be worried if I looked like that, I have proper pics in my albums section ^_^

For all of those who do not know, Dice is a super saiyan.

Back on topic guys, what do you guys think AMD's new CPU will be like? Will it be back to single cores or a new variant of their Modules concept.

Can AMD do anything about hyper threading? Could they ever try something like that?
All I want is for AMD to have strong single threaded performance with a good bit of room for overclocking.

I just hope they can compete at the high end with Intel i.e 5960X, I know I'm asking for a lot but they have had enough time to get their backsides into gear.
