AMD's Radeon RX 7900 XT is now available for under £700 in the UK

Caseking.de (owned by Rivean Capitol) which owns OCUK has their cheapest XT at €869 (£749) but Mindfactory.de have them at €799 (£688)
Scan in turn is matching EU pricing but changing the symbol from '€' to '£' :p
So OCUK's prices are good but not the best.

Question is, what sort of value are these? I have a RX6800 which I paid £499 on or about launch day in 2020 before everything went bananas and the 7900 XT will give 30%+ improvement @ 1440 and a bit more with RT enabled. Better value I think than an Nvidia 4070 (Ti) unless you need RT but would you spend more that £600 on a card with less than 16GB Vram in 2023?

Do they have 20% VAT added in the EU?

19% in this case as buying from Germany, but yes they do.

Ah OK.

For me OCUK will match and undercut whatever prices are being charged here in the UK. Obviously with the EU being far bigger they will have more competition, hence the slightly lower prices.

BTW with regards to this price? TBH I think AMD would have launched it at these prices. The only problem was they still had masses of 6000 series stock. If they competed with themselves it would have taken them forever to get rid of those, if at all. The last dregs of the 6000 series are left now. Mostly the high end stuff.
